Paul Stohner has been Powerhouse’s visionary and leader for 30 years. He continues to advise and guide Powerhouse towards a promising future.

Paul grew up the South Jersey where he continues to reside with his wife of 40 years, Andrea, with whom they have 3 great children and 4 wonderful grandchildren. Paul attended Moravian College in Bethlehem, PA, graduating in 1971. He was a Staff Sargeant E-6 in the artillery unit as a member of the National Guard from 1971-1982, training in Ft. Campbell, KY and Ft. Still, OK.

Paul started his boiler career in 1968 working part-time at Penn Jersey Boiler, then took a full-time position after graduating college. Penn Jersey recognized the burgeoning rental boiler business and started at division called SteamRent in 1974 with Paul at the helm. Growing off of the momentum of SteamRent’s success, Paul decided to take a leap and started Powerhouse Equipment in October of 1982.

Powerhouse started humbly in a rented office and shared warehouse in Camden, NJ then grew into a new facility in Delanco, NJ with a worldwide presence, all under Paul’s direction as President & Founder.
